Alfred — Product guide
Alfred is your in-app guide to LealUp. It helps you learn the platform, find features, and resolve configuration questions.
Alfred is the product assistant inside LealUp. Its main role is to help you understand and use the platform, and it can also look up account context (read-only) when you ask for it.
What Alfred is
Alfred knows LealUp's documentation, features, and configuration flows. When you don't know where to find something or how to set it up, Alfred guides you.
Examples of questions Alfred answers well:
- "How do I configure the health model?"
- "Where do I invite a new CSM?"
- "What scopes does the Gmail integration need?"
- "How does the renewal playbook work?"
- "Where do I export customer data?"
How to open it
- Global shortcut:
⌘ + /(Mac) /Ctrl + /(Windows) from any screen. - Icon: bottom-right corner.
- Inside any section: Ask Alfred button in the help panel.
What Alfred can do
- Explain features -- how each module works, what options it has, where to configure it.
- Walk you through steps -- gives you the exact path to reach a setting or action.
- Cite its sources -- each answer indicates which knowledge-base section it came from.
- Clarify permissions and roles -- what each role can do, how to change permissions.
- Define concepts -- what a playbook is, how health score is calculated, what each dimension means.
What Alfred can look up about your accounts (read-only)
Beyond product guidance, Alfred can answer specific questions about an account using your workspace data, always read-only:
- Account stakeholders -- who the contacts are and their roles.
- Contact sentiment -- the sentiment analysis already computed.
- Contact timeline -- recent activity (emails, WhatsApp, notes).
What Alfred does NOT do
- Never modifies anything -- it does not create, edit or delete data; it is strictly read-only.
- Does not draft follow-up emails -- the email drafting AI lives in the email composer inside Customer 360.
- Does not prepare meeting briefings -- automated briefings are generated by the Calendar AI before each meeting.
- Does not analyze aggregate portfolio metrics -- insights and signals are generated by the AI agents in each module.
AI embedded in each feature
LealUp is an AI-first platform. The artificial intelligence is not centralized in Alfred but distributed across each module:
- Gmail -- the AI reads your synced emails, analyzes sentiment, and can suggest drafts. See Gmail.
- Google Calendar -- the AI generates automated briefings before meetings with account context. See Calendar.
- Customer 360 -- the AI suggests next steps based on account state, timeline, and active playbooks.
- WhatsApp -- the AI detects mentions of problems and suggests creating tickets. See WhatsApp.
- Renewals -- the AI identifies expansion and risk signals in the timeline.
Each of these agents works with your workspace data in isolation.
Included usage
We don't charge per query: Alfred is part of the plan, with a fair-use limit per workspace to keep the service stable.
Common issues
- "Alfred won't answer about my customer" -- it can look up an account's stakeholders, sentiment and timeline; for deeper analysis use the AI features within each module (Customer 360, Gmail, Calendar).
- "Alfred doesn't know about a new feature" -- its knowledge base is regenerated periodically from the product; there can be a short lag after a release. If you notice it, report it.
- "Alfred responds in Spanish" -- adjust your preferred language in My profile --> Preferred language.
