LealUp Docs
For Admins

Configure your workspace

The first steps after signup — branding, domain, defaults, and setup checklist.

This page is the admin guide for the first 30 days. The goal: leave your workspace productive for the whole team.

Your workspace

When you sign up, LealUp automatically creates a workspace with:

  • A subdomain your-company.lealup.com (generated from the company name).
  • Your user as admin with full permissions.
  • The 5 default playbooks seeded.
  • The Balanced preset applied to the health model.
  • Empty custom fields (you add them).

Branding

Admin → Settings → Branding

  • Logo — transparent SVG or PNG, max 2MB. Shows in the topbar, emails sent from the system, and PDF exports.
  • Primary color — defaults to #26c08c (LealUp green). Use it if you want to keep the palette, or switch to your company brand color.
  • Custom domain — Scale and Enterprise tiers can use docs.your-company.com or similar. Requires DNS verification (CNAME).

All changes are live — nothing needs to be republished.

Transactional emails

Admin → Settings → Emails

Which emails go out from the system:

  • Invitations to new users.
  • Notifications for assigned tasks.
  • Weekly summary (optional).
  • Critical health alerts (optional).

You can customize the sender (name and email) and signature. By default they go out from [email protected]; Enterprise plans can use your own domain via DKIM.

Timezone and workspace language

Admin → Settings → Regional

  • Timezone — affects how dates, playbook timings, and notifications display. Each user can override their own timezone.
  • Default languagees / pt / en. New users inherit this language; they can change it.
  • Date format — DD/MM/YYYY (LATAM default) or MM/DD/YYYY (US).
  • Currency — USD, BRL, MXN, ARS, COP, CLP, PEN, UYU. Affects how ARR displays across the app.

Corporate domain and SSO

Admin → Security

  • Corporate domain — add one or more domains (your-company.com). Any user who signs up with an email from that domain is auto-assigned to your workspace (avoids duplicates).
  • SSO/SAML — connect with Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra, or Okta. Mandatory on Enterprise. See Team and roles.
  • Mandatory MFA — force 2FA for all users.
  • Session timeout — 8h (default), 4h, 1h, or "expire on browser close".

First-day checklist

If you just created the workspace, do this in order:

  1. Basic branding (logo + color) — 5 min.
  2. Add corporate domain — 2 min.
  3. Connect Gmail or Outlook — 5 min.
  4. Import at least 10 sample customers (CSV or demo data) — 10 min.
  5. Invite 1–2 colleagues to test the flow — 5 min.
  6. Verify that seeded playbooks fire with the demo data — 5 min.

Total: 30–45 minutes and your workspace is ready for internal beta use.

First-week checklist

  1. Create custom fields for your segmentation (Tier, Industry, ACV).
  2. Adjust the health model to fit your product (what does "healthy usage" mean for you?).
  3. Import 100% of your real book (not just a sample).
  4. Invite all CSMs and directors.
  5. Connect Slack and WhatsApp if they apply.
  6. Set team OKRs and create a dashboard.
  7. First training with the team (1 hour — LealUp sends you a base deck on signup).

First-month checklist

  1. Review health model metrics — are the reds really red?
  2. Tune seeded playbooks based on team feedback.
  3. Create 1–2 custom playbooks for your business.
  4. Connect secondary systems (Zendesk, Jira, Pipedrive).
  5. Turn on product event ingestion (if you have a tech team).
  6. First team QBR using LealUp dashboards.
  7. Review adoption — which CSMs use LealUp daily? Who needs more training?

Does your workspace have sample data?

During signup you choose whether to load demo data. If you did and want to clean it before going to production:

Admin → Settings → DataClean sample data

Removes: 50 fictional customers + their timelines. Doesn't touch your real data, users, playbooks, or config. Irreversible, double confirmation.

Migrate from another CS tool

If you're coming from Gainsight, ChurnZero, Planhat, or Custify:

  1. Export your customer list with ARR, renewal date, owner, custom fields.
  2. Import to LealUp via CSV (step 3 of the wizard).
  3. We don't directly import historical timelines (on the roadmap). Recommendation: connect email and calendar and let the timeline rebuild going forward.
  4. Playbooks — recreate the ones you used, or start with the seeded ones and adapt.

If you need migration help, [email protected] — it's included for Scale/Enterprise tiers.
